Urban Promontory - Central Harborfront Competition

This urban promontory rests on four layers of landscaped podium where the
imagery of a verdant coastal plain continues. These form a series of terraces,
gently stepping down, their edges smooth, sinuous and fluid. Ribbons of green
landscaping meander through the Site. Pools of water glisten and beckon, some
still and reflective, others gushing and dancing, a kaleidoscope of a green and
lush wonderland. This is the final frontier of Hong Kong’s central harborfront,
a new central coast, resplendent with a monumental promontory, streams of
life coursing through it, recreated for its inhabitants, its visitors and its future
generations.
